Whether your child is just beginning their tumbling journey or looking to take their skills to the next level, Burke’s Tumbling Program has a class for them. Our experienced coaches create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where athletes build confidence while learning proper technique every step of the way.
Classes are grouped by skill level and take place in our fully equipped tumbling gym featuring a spring floor, tumble track, trampoline, foam pit, and specialized training equipment. From forward rolls and cartwheels to round-offs, back handsprings, and advanced tumbling, our progressive curriculum helps every athlete reach their goals safely while developing strength, coordination, and confidence.

Our recreational programs are offered in 7-week sessions throughout the school year, allowing athletes to build skills through a structured, progressive curriculum.
Please note that there will be no classes on 9/7, 9/21 & 10/12. Tuition has already been prorated to reflect these closures.
Full payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your child’s spot. Transfers may only be made to another class within the same session for the same child and are based on availability. Once registration is complete, no refunds or credits will be issued.
An annual registration fee is required once per family each school year: This fee is due when your family first registers for the 2026–2027 school year and covers your family through the end of that school year.
1 child- $35.00 total, 2 children- $55.00 total, 3 or more children- $65.00 total
Class length – 1 hour
Intermediate 1 focuses on building strong tumbling basics, including cartwheels, handstands, backbends, and roundoffs. Athletes will develop the strength, flexibility, and confidence needed to progress to more advanced skills.

Class length- 1 hour
Athletes must have all Intermediate 1 skills and be able to perform a backbend independently. This class works on progressions from all intermediate 1 skills working kick-overs, one-handed cartwheels, front tumbling basics, running tumbling, and connecting skills with proper technique and control.

All students must have mastered skills in Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2, or recommended by a BTA instructor to be in this level. This class is designed for students with a strong foundation in tumbling who are ready to take on more complex skills. Athletes will work on back walkovers, front walkovers, running tumbling and introduction to back handspring drills while continuing to build strength, flexibility, and body control.
This level bridges the gap between foundational skills and powerful tumbling passes.

All students must have mastered skills in Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Intermediate 3 or recommended by a BTA instructor to be in this level. Intermediate 4 focuses on the final preparations before flipping! Athletes will work on solidifying front and back walkover connections, backhand springs, aerials, round-off connections, and combination passes.

Class length- 1 hour
All students must have mastered skills in Int. 1, Int. 2, Int. 3 and Int. 4 or recommended by a BTA instructor to be in this level. All athletes must have their back handspring independently to be in this level. Advanced Tumbling focuses on skills like connecting back handsprings, front tucks, back tucks, layouts, fulls and combination tumbling passes. Technique, power, and precision are emphasized, with individualized coaching to help each athlete safely reach their goals.

This class is designed for tweens who want to tumble alongside kids their own age. Whether your child is just starting out or already working on advanced skills, all abilities are welcome. Students will be grouped by skill level and encouraged to progress at their own pace.

This class is for teens who want to build or advance their tumbling skills with peers their own age. Whether you’re brand new to tumbling or working on advanced passes, all levels are welcome. Students are grouped by skill level so everyone gets the instruction they need while feeling comfortable and confident in class.

Ready to learn or perfect your back handspring? This class focuses on proper technique, strength, power, and confidence through drills, stations, and safe progressions. Whether you’re working on your first back handspring or making it more consistent, our coaches will help you reach your goal.
Prerequisites: Round-off, handstand, strong push ups, bridge kick over, if you are unsure please ask for Burke’s coach approval.

This class is designed for athletes working toward front and side aerials or looking to improve consistency. Athletes will develop the strength, flexibility, technique, and body control needed through progressive drills and skill-specific training.
Prerequisites: strong cartwheel and strong one handed cartwheel
