All Star Cheerleading
All Star Cheer is a discipline of cheer that involves athletes performing a routine composed of tumbling, stunting, pyramids, dance, and cheer segments. Tryouts are for team placements based on skill/age. Our athletes learn skills from qualified coaches with years of experience. We promote a friendly and welcoming environment in which cheerleaders thrive while gaining skills and building confidence. We are proud to announce our hard working cheerleaders have qualified for the D2 Summit in Orlando, FL six years in a row. We believe in one simple philosophy, FAMILY FIRST and BURKES prides itself in providing a place for all cheerleaders who wish to become a part of the BTA cheer family!
Half-year cheerleading teams compete against All-Star teams around New England. The season begins the first week of November and runs until April- attending 1-3 local competitions. Athletes are placed with other athletes of similar age & skill levels based on the USASF guidelines. Half-season athletes practice two nights per week. All-Star half-year is perfect for the athlete interested in a competitive team with less time and cost commitment than what is required for All-Star Full Year Elite. The program provides an introduction to a competitive environment
Please note: All athletes will make a team; Full year cheerleading, half year cheerleading or Cheerleading prep. Our coaches will determine which team is most appropriate for your child based on evaluations.
