Session 3 – January 2- February 17th
In order to reserve your child’s spot in class full payment is due upfront. Classes can ONLY be transferred to another class at the beginning of the session if we have space available. Transfers can only be made within the same session and same child’s name. There are no refunds and no credits once registration has been made.
This class introduces your child to the world of movement. The staff at BTA will help your child through various activities that include basic tumbling, rhythm and balance. This class will help your child gain confidence through movement.
Class length – 45 minutes
Monday 10:15am – Wednesday 9:30am- Saturday 9am
Children in this class are independent in following along as the instructor guides students through exciting obstacles to learn basic tumbling skills. This class provides fun activities that will safely challenge your child’s abilities. Each week your child will be learning different tumbling skills such as somersaults, cartwheels, jumps etc. Children also develop skills in following directions and turn taking.

This class begins to teach at a slightly higher level. This includes strength and flexibility as well as coordination, balance and body awareness.

Monday 1:00pm- Tuesday 2:30pm- Tuesday 3:15pm – Friday 1:00pm
This class begins to teach the basic fundamentals of tumbling. The student will be learning rolls, Cartwheels, round-offs, bridges and back-bends.

Monday 3:00pm – Tuesday 3:30pm – Tuesday 4:30pm- Wednesday 4:30pm- Saturday 11:00am
This class is a continuation of the basics learned in the Intermediate 1 class as well as more enhanced skills: Back-bend kick overs, handstand tip to bridge and handstand forward rolls. Students will also learn to connect basic tumbling.

This class will continue to work all skills developed in previous classes. Students will begin to learn the following skills: Back walkovers, front limbers and front walkovers.

Wednesday 5:30pm- Thursday 4:00pm
This class is for students who are sufficient in back handsprings and round off back handsprings. Students will begin working on more advanced skills such as: back tucks, and front tucks. Students will continue to work all basic skills, stretching and strength conditioning.

Each student will progress at their own pace while gaining confidence and body awareness as they learn new tumbling skills.
