Tumbling Classes

Session 5 – April 22- June 8

Please note there will be no classes May 25th and May 27th. Your tuition has already been pro rated for this.

In order to reserve your child’s spot in class full payment is due upfront. Classes can ONLY be transferred to another class at the beginning of the session if we have space available. Transfers can only be made within the same session and same child’s name. There are no refunds and no credits once registration has been made.

Grown-Up & Me Ages 12 months – 2.5 (Adult must participate)

This class introduces your child to the world of movement. The staff at BTA will help your child through various activities that include basic tumbling, rhythm and balance. This class will help your child gain confidence through movement.

Class length – 45 minutes

Class times offered:

Monday 10:15am – Wednesday 9:30am- Saturday 9am

Toddler Ages 2.5–3.5 yrs. (Adult DO NOT participate)

Children in this class are independent in following along as the instructor guides students through exciting obstacles to learn basic tumbling skills. This class provides fun activities that will safely challenge your child’s abilities. Each week your child will be learning different tumbling skills such as somersaults, cartwheels, jumps etc.  Children also develop skills in following directions and turn taking.

Class length – 45 minutes

Monday 11:15am – Wednesday 11:45am

Beginner Ages 3.5–5 yrs (Adults DO NOT participate)

This class begins to teach at a slightly higher level. This includes strength and flexibility as well as coordination, balance and body awareness.

Class times offered:

Monday 1:00pm- Tuesday 2:30pm- Tuesday 3:15pm – Friday 1:00pm

Intermediate 1 Ages 5 & Up

This class begins to teach the basic fundamentals of tumbling. The student will be learning rolls, Cartwheels, round-offs, bridges and back-bends.

Class length – 1 hour

Monday 3:00pm – Tuesday 3:30pm – Tuesday 4:30pm- Wednesday 4:30pm- Saturday 11:00am

Intermediate 2

This class is a continuation of the basics learned in the Intermediate 1 class as well as more enhanced skills: Back-bend kick overs, handstand tip to bridge and handstand forward rolls. Students will also learn to connect basic tumbling.

Class length – 1 hour

Monday 3:30pm – Tuesday 4:00pm – Wednesday 4:00pm

Intermediate 3

This class will continue to work all skills developed in previous classes. Students will begin to learn the following skills: Back walkovers, front limbers and front walkovers.

Class length – 1 hour

Monday 3:30pm- Wednesday 5:00pm

Intermediate 4

This class transitions from back walkovers to learning how to do a back handspring. Students will also learn front handsprings aerials, round-off back handsprings and continue to work on strength and flexibility for more difficult tumbling.

Class times offered:

Wednesday 5:00pm- Thursday 4:00pm

Advanced

This class is for students who are sufficient in back handsprings and round off back handsprings. Students will begin working on more advanced skills such as: back tucks, and front tucks. Students will continue to work all basic skills, stretching and strength conditioning.

Tween Class (Ages 9-12)

Each student will progress at their own pace while gaining confidence and body awareness as they learn new tumbling skills.
All tumbling abilities welcome!

Monday 4:30pm

Ages 13 and up

This class is perfect for cheerleaders, dancers and gymnast! Each student will progress at their own pace while gaining confidence and body awareness as they learn new tumbling skills.
